To our Valued Patients,
As dentists and health professionals, we have always placed the trust and wellbeing of our
patients and staff as paramount to all other concerns. During this unprecedented time of the
Covid-19 pandemic, we have taken many steps to ensure we are doing all we can to protect health.
Therefore, it is vital that as we move forward together in providing for both health and safety,
that we maintain clear and open communication. This will allow for us to continue to meet the
highest standards of care and safety that we all expect and deserve.
For the past 9 weeks, we have been following the recommendations of the CDC & Governor Sununu by suspending all routine dental care and providing only urgent emergency care to our patients. While we had previously adjusted our hours and seen patients on a limited basis, we will be preparing to reopen our office and extend our hours starting next Monday, May 18th. On Friday May 8th Governor Sununu approved the resumption of routine dental care appointments as long as the CDC Guidelines for infection control are followed. While we are eager to get back to our patients, we feel that we cannot rush this and want to be sure everything is fully implemented before we reopen. Drs. Filler, Dr. Hallinan, and our staff feel that it is a priority to enact these measures to ensure the safety of our patients and dental staff.
These enhanced measures include the following steps:
- Screening our staff daily for fever, symptoms or known exposure to COVID-19.
- Requiring staff members wear a mask, gloves, eyewear and face shields.
- Not allowing staff members who are sick to come to work.
- Minimizing the number of patients in the office at any one time to guarantee social
distancing. Appointments are required for all dental services and we will be implementing
curbside check in to minimize exposure.
- Specific screening protocols for all patients for fever, symptoms or known exposures to
COVID-19 prior to entering the office.
- Sanitizing station for patients when you enter the office, as well as providing patients
with a personal PPE bag that includes mask, gloves and personal pen to be used.
- The addition of an advanced air purification system and window screens to improve open air
ventilation throughout the office.
- Updated physical modifications of our modern facilities, including areas with new
antibacterial flooring.
- Consistent sanitizing of all contact surfaces throughout the day.
- Utilizing Teledentistry services when applicable to minimize unnecessary physical
interaction.
- Offering free shipping for dental supplies if you cannot come into the office.
Over the coming weeks, our staff will be reaching out to you to reschedule dental appointments.
Due to the limitations of social distancing, our appointment scheduling will be slightly
adjusted. We ask for your continued patience and understanding as we try to accommodate
previously cancelled and new appointments moving forward. Please contact the office if you have
any questions.
Thank-you for your continued support and best wishes for everyone's health.
